This year’s assembly offers myriad opportunities to learn something new, catch up with a colleague, discover a better technique and refresh your professional spirit. The plenary program kicks off on Sunday afternoon with my President’s Address, “Leading Through Change,” followed by Howard Chrisman, MD, who will further explore embracing change. Elizabeth Burnside, MD, will then examine the intersection of humans and technology in health care. Later in the week, Vin Gupta, MD, will share perspectives on the future of health care, and Jocelyn Chertoff, MD, will offer insights into developing a resilient workforce. Our AAPM colleagues will contribute ideas about how physicists and radiologists collaborate on medical imaging innovations.
Challenge yourself at the incomparable Image Interpretation Session and test your limits during the team-based Radiology Jeopardy. Fast 5 session presenters—selected with your help—will give quick takes on their ideas for leading through change.
The Learning Center includes two theaters this year offering late-breaking research on sustainability in radiology, imaging of immunotherapy, theranostics and generative AI. Be sure to explore the science posters and education exhibits across every subspecialty while you’re there. Take a break in the new Learning Center Café and enjoy the Art of Imaging exhibit showcasing our colleagues’ talent.
Visit the Technical Exhibits Halls to find inspiring solutions for your practice needs. Don’t miss the AI Showcase, filled with product demonstrations and daily presentations. Stop by the new Career Resource Center in the expanded Recruiters Row. On Tuesday afternoon enjoy complimentary refreshments during the Technical Exhibits Happy Hour.
