3. Fluoroscopy time alone is inadequate in estimating patient dose. The number of fluoroscopic images (from Cine imaging or Digital Subtraction Angiography (DSA)) with known dose rate and dose per image along with the fluoroscopy time improve estimation of patient dose.

A. With the overt use of LOINC-RadLex Playbook exam names in EMRs, data hand off will rely upon standardized protocol names to drive downstream workflows. In this new initiative, RadLex is addressing this gap in standardized data for improved interoperability.
