Welcome to RSNA 2024

RSNA 2024 provides rich opportunities to learn something new, make important connections and spend time with colleagues from across the world. Fill your agenda with educational courses, late-breaking research presentations and experiences to help you improve our practice of radiology.

The plenary program kicks off on Sunday afternoon with my President’s Address, “Building Intelligent Connections,” where we will explore how building collaborative, intelligent connections between people and technology will energize the care team and elevate the radiologist’s role. Next, Nina Kottler, MD, MS, will highlight how AI can enhance our practices. After the session, head up to the Connections Center and Learning Center and raise a glass at the new Welcome Reception.

Later in the week, don’t miss Eric Topol, MD, author of Deep Medicine: How Artificial Intelligence Can Make Healthcare Human Again, who will discuss AI’s transformation in medicine, and Carrie Cunningham, MD, MPH, addressing the current mental health crisis among health care professionals. Then join Nicholas A. Christakis, MD, PhD, to learn how AIhuman interactions can help solve problems and support social connections. Our colleagues at AAPM will discuss how multidisciplinary teams can harness the power of AI for better cancer care. 

Challenge your diagnostic skills at the unparalleled Image Interpretation Session and join the competition at “Microbial Mayhem,” our popular plenary game show. Fast 5 session presenters—selected with your help—will share their vision for how Building Intelligent Connections makes us all better. Don’t miss the hot topic research on multiomic and multicenter radiology AI, theranostics, and low-field and mobile MRI, presented in the Learning Center theaters throughout the week. Take a break in the Learning Center Café, then take in the hundreds of science posters and education exhibits across every subspecialty while you’re there.
