Building Intelligent Connections
As clinical imaging demands outpace radiology workforce growth, many radiologists face unsustainable workloads that can lead to burnout and dissatisfaction. When implemented ethically and appropriately, AI and other new technologies will reduce workloads while supporting and enhancing the radiologist’s role.
Awards and honors will be presented formally during a private event outside of the plenary sessions.

For fluoroscopic procedures remind room personnel of the inverse square law: Exposure at 6 feet is 2.8% of that at 1 foot from the x-ray source.
ECG-based current modulation during a CCTA leads to radiation exposure reduction during which cardiac motion phase?
(b) Systole involves significant changes in pressure and volume, resulting in most dynamic heart motion. ECG-based modulation reduces current during phases of pronounced cardiac motion, particularly early and mid-systole, reducing radiation but potentially compromising diagnostic sensitivity in these motion-prone phases.
